According to I.R.I NPC Public Relations report, Mohammad Aliabadi praised the efforts of our National team and reiterated to Sitting Volleyball athletes: your admirable and elegant rivalries in the World Championships especially your breathtaking challenge in final rounds with powerful team of Bosnia contributed to adding a new glory to our previous international sportive honors in our country. You could raise the holy flag of Iran in international events and cheer up Iranian people.
He took this opportunity to congratulate glorious championship of Iran Sitting Volleyball National team and praise perseverance of young Sitting Volleyball Athletes of Iran and appreciate great endeavors and programming of people in charge of Sports of Athletes with a Disability, as well as efforts of technical cadre and athletes of our National Sitting Volleyball team.
In addition, Bahram Afsharzadeh, NOC Secretary General expressed his congratulations to our National Sitting Volleyball team concerning their championships in the World Championships and said:
The continuous successes of Iran National Sitting Volleyball team in the World & Paralympic Games have showed that, even some shortcomings could not discourage the motivation of our athletes for defending the credit of Iran in this sport.
In fact, nowadays different countries around the World undoubtedly consider Iran as the greatest power in Sitting Volleyball in the world. This is the result of constant endeavors of our dear athletes. Thus, he appreciated all people in charge of sports of Athletes with a Disability, technical cadre, and athletes of our National Sitting Volleyball team and congratulated Physical Education Organization, sport society and our people upon this achievement and hoped to see more glories in Guangzhou Asian Games and London Paralympic Games.
